What a Show! What fun!

Your participation, dedication and hard work made this 18th annual Koi and Goldfish Show a great success! I am not saying that because I was the Show Chair along with Fred Elsey. I am saying it because everybody pitched in and did a great job! Fred did a fantastic job with many facets of the Show and creating the Show Booklet. The set-up, led by Bob Dethman, went extremely smooth and was completed by 10:30 am on Friday. Of course the fact that a large number of club member helpers were there, did not hurt a bit! The Show started on time on Saturday morning and judging went as smooth as ever. Thanks Sue Boydstun for helping with Koi logistics and Nancy Anthony, Goldfish Judge, with goldfish. The crowds enjoyed our hourly raffle, as usual, with lots of donated fish! Our vendors seemed to be doing relatively well and the crowds participated with plenty of raffle tickets sold. The Banquet at the Red Lion was fabulous! Lot's of fun was had by all. The raffle and silent auction were large with lots of donated items from vendors both local and national. We owe a big thanks to our sponsoring vendors, all of which were listed in this year' Show Booklet. Our Koi Judge Larry Gill enjoyed the Show and was very complimentary!

Thanks to all the volunteers that helped with the Show and they were many of you!

The result: A successful Show, a fun Show and one that cost less than projected.
